Lil’ Kickers is a child development program for children between 18 months and 7 years old. Our 50 minute weekly soccer classes include a combination of soccer-based drills and creative, age-appropriate games designed to enhance motor skills and promote healthy activity.

Lil’ Kickers
Lil’ Kickers is an introductory child development and soccer program for children between the ages of 18 months and 6 years. Our 50 minute weekly classes include a combination of soccer-based drills and creative, age-appropriate games designed to enhance motor skills and promote healthy activity. Based on a proven child development curriculum, Lil’ Kickers classes teach young children self-esteem and confidence on and off the field. Lil’ Kickers instructors are trained in early childhood development and believe in the power of teaching and learning through sports and physical activity. Lil’ Kickers classes are high energy, fun, and tailored to each child’s individual needs. Many Lil’ Kickers courses include valuable parent interaction. Bunnies
18-24 months; Parent/Child Class Bunnies classes guide toddlers in learning basic soccer skills while building fundamentals such as balance and coordination. Classes incorporate activities that are geared toward a toddler’s unique way of learning and include parachutes, bubbles, noodles, cones, lots of goal scoring and more. Thumpers
2-3 years; Parent/Child Class Thumpers classes allow children & parents to play organized games together to help develop listening skills, balance, ball skills and foot-eye coordination. Thumpers is the ideal next step for Bunnies veterans and a perfect introduction to Lil’ Kickers for new players. Adult participation is required.SUMMER SCHEDULE

Cottontails
2.5-3.5 years; Parent/Child Class
Cottontails is for children who are ready for more of a challenge than a Thumpers class, but are not quite ready to be on the field solo. While building fundamental skills such as balance, coordination, ball skills, classes also help build a sense of independence. As children progress throughout the session and become ready for more independence, parents can transition to a less active role, helping prepare the child to transition to the next level. Adult participation is required.

Hoppers
3-4 years Hoppers classes are designed to foster independence while being fun and fast paced. Classes focus on building balance, coordination and fundamental soccer skills through creative play and also help develop listening skills, cooperation and teamwork. Hoppers classes are the first class in the Lil’ Kickers program where children will participate in weekly sessions independently.SUMMER SCHEDULE

Jack Rabbits
3-4 years
Jackrabbits classes are designed to help transition children into team play. Children play creative games to help develop fundamental soccer skills and will also be introduced to more one-ball oriented games and scrimmaging. The focus of the scrimmages will be to help players understand how to apply skills in different situations and building teamwork. Some small sided non-competitive soccer games are introduced as well.

Micro / Micro Advanced
4-5 years / 5-6 years / 6-7years
Micro classes are for children ages 4-5, 5-6 or 6-7 who have previous soccer experience and are ready for more of a challenge. Players learn more advanced fundamental soccer skills through fun, age-appropriate and creative skill building games. Players also have the opportunity to practice those skills in non-competitive scrimmages.

We are committed to providing a seamless and enjoyable experience for our young soccer players. To ensure a smooth start, here is a brief overview of the clothing and equipment requirements for our Lil’ Kickers soccer classes:
- Lil’ Kickers Uniforms: We are pleased to offer a complimentary Lil’ Kickers uniform to all first-time customers. This is our way of welcoming you and ensuring your child is ready for their soccer journey with us.
- Shin Guards: For safety and protection, shin guards are recommended for our Micro and Next Step Soccer classes. These essential pieces of equipment help prevent injuries and ensure a safe playing environment for all participants.
- Athletic Shoes or Cleats: Participants are welcome to wear athletic shoes or non-metal spike cleats suitable for indoor play. Please ensure that cleats are clean before arriving to maintain the quality of our playing surfaces.
- Purchasing Additional Gear: If you would like to purchase an additional Lil’ Kickers uniform, they are available for $22. This is a great option for families who wish to have a spare jersey or if you have outgrown your original jersey size.

Transfers
We understand that schedules and circumstances can change. If you need to transfer your child to a different class or session within our soccer programs, we offer a flexible transfer policy to accommodate your needs.
Transfer Policy:
- Eligibility: Transfers are available for participants enrolled in any of our soccer programs, including Lil’ Kickers and Next Step Soccer. Transfers can be requested based on availability in the desired class or session.
- Requesting a Transfer: To initiate a transfer, please stop by the front desk or give us a phone call at (908) 203-1600.

Make-Up Classes
At Branchburg Sports Complex, we understand the importance of flexibility in your schedule. Whether you’re exploring new programs through our Free Trial offer or making up a missed session, our policies are designed with your convenience in mind.
Make-Up Class Policy:
- Eligibility: Each child is entitled to one make-up class per season.
- Non-Transferable: Make-up credits cannot be carried over to future sessions. They are valid only within the current season.
- No Pro-Rating: Make-up credits cannot be used to adjust fees for future sessions or to receive a credit for a missed class.
- Offerings: We offer make-up classes as a courtesy, but please note that they are limited based on class availability and roster sizes.
To schedule a make-up class, please contact our front desk for availability 7 days or fewer to your intended make-up session.
Registration
Registration for the Lil’ Kickers program is always open! Feel free to join us at any time throughout the season. However, no spaces in class are guaranteed without full payment and all registration is on a first-come first-served basis.
How to Register:
- Browse Our Programs: Start by exploring our soccer classes to find the program that best suits your child’s age and skill level. We offer a variety of classes tailored to different age groups and developmental stages.
- Select a Class: Once you’ve identified the right class, review the available schedules and choose the session that fits your family’s needs. Availability is updated regularly, so be sure to check for the most current information.
- Complete the Registration Form: Click on the registration link provided for the selected class. You’ll be directed to our secure registration form where you can enter your child’s details, select additional options, and complete the enrollment process.
- Payment: After completing your online profile, proceed to the payment section. We accept various payment methods to ensure a smooth and secure transaction.
- Confirmation: Once your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email with all the necessary details about your child’s class and any additional information required.

Pro-Rating
We recognize that schedules can change, and we want to ensure flexibility for our participants. To accommodate those who join a soccer session after it has started, we offer a pro-rating option.
- Pro-Rating Details: If you register for a soccer class that is already in progress, we will calculate the cost based on the remaining number of classes left in the session. This way, you only pay for the classes your child will attend.
- How It Works: When you register for a class mid-session, the pro-rated fee is automatically applied during the checkout process. This adjustment ensures a fair charge for the portion of the session your child will participate in.

Sibling Discount
Lil’ Kickers Program:
- First child pays full price.
- Each additional sibling receives a $22 discount on their enrollment for the same session.
- Siblings must be registered simultaneously to receive the discount.
- FULL SEASON SIGN UPS ONLY!
- Discount is only applicable if siblings are enrolled in the same program.
Note: Siblings are defined as children residing in the same household under the care of the same parent or guardian.
